Golden is the start of a new series， and let me tell you - this book is a great one to start the year off with！ When you see the chapter titles and the author's dedication you just know that this book is going to be something else。 You won't be disappointed with this one。Cin has family problems。 Not the usual problems that the rest of us have。 Oh no。 No， her's are way worse。 It's not just the mother - apparently， it's the whole bunch。 I mean， how is any of this Cin's fault that her mother likes Golden is the start of a new series， and let me tell you - this book is a great one to start the year off with！ When you see the chapter titles and the author's dedication you just know that this book is going to be something else。 You won't be disappointed with this one。Cin has family problems。 Not the usual problems that the rest of us have。 Oh no。 No， her's are way worse。 It's not just the mother - apparently， it's the whole bunch。 I mean， how is any of this Cin's fault that her mother likes to get around？ And has jealousy issues！！ I mean。。。come on！ Yeah， you're going to yell that a lot in this book。 LOL！ There's going to be jaw-drops， wide eyes， shouts of all sorts， and so much more。 This book is absolutely fantastic and will keep you page-turning all the way to the end。 The beginning might make you stumble a little， but trust me， once this book gains traction you're not going to want to put it down。 It just keeps getting better and better with unique twists， turns， and absolutely fantastic characters。 I honestly can't wait to find out what happens next！ 5 out of 5 stars！ 。。。more

Another crazy wild ride from Mayer， with some ah-mazing characters in a complex and beautiful world。 The snark is over the top and I’m sooo here for it！ I usually HATE when author’s reviews-write well known characters like Loki but I could NOT put this book down！ （Like always 😉）。 Mayer really set the hook in this story and I can’t wait to see what happens next！

What a ride。 Well Shannon Mayer definitely knows how to torture her characters。 The hits just kept on coming for poor Cin。 She has some good friends， but her family are crazy cruel and homicidal。 And so many times her good nature wanted to help people only to have it drop her deeper into trouble。 Even after all the revelations and twists， I still feel like there is so much more going on that we can’t see yet。 A mix of dark fairytale and mythology。 Can’t wait to see what happens next。

Absolutely loved this story。 Cin is part of a wolf pack who is all kinds of twisted under her mothers rule。 When left for dead she is able to find her own life。 But one can never stay hidden forever。 She finds herself in a twisted world of fate and has to ask her enemy for help to save the world。 So much in this story and I cannot wait for book 2！
